Patty Comer, a seventh grade teacher at Biloxi Junior High School, was presented a $500 grant for science and technology upgrades in her classroom.

Comer was one of five educators receiving a grant from the Armed Forced Communications and Electronics Association. The presentations were made last month during luncheon at the Bay Breeze Event Center at Keesler. Guest speaker was Alfred Rivera, director of computing services for the Defense Information Systems Agency.
