Matthew David Mosher was chosen to represent Biloxi High School as the 2010 delegate to Boys State.
Mosher attended the weeklong conference this past summer at University of Southern Mississippi with over 400 representatives from all over the state. The students explored the state's judicial system, met elected officials, and participated in a talent show and College Day.
Matthew is a senior and plays tenor saxophone in the Biloxi High School Band. He also has been selected to the Gulf Coast Band Director’s Association, was chosen as the 2009 sophomore Biloxi High School Ambassador to attend the Hugh O’Brien Leadership Youth Conference at Milsaps College, and recently received the Excellence in Advanced Placement Biology award as well as an Outstanding Achievement in Computer Engineering Technology award.
Biloxi trio attends Girls State
Three honor students at Biloxi High School recently attended Girls State. They were:
Blair Guice, a member of the Student Council, Key Club and the BHS soccer team. She plays on the Select Soccer team.
Breanna Evans, a member of HOSA, Student to Student, Jr. Civitans, Jr. Red Cross, National Technical Honor Society, Drill Team and the BHS Dance Team.
Lauren Rackley; a member of the Student Council, Key Club, Cross Country team, Soccer Team and she is a cheerleader.
