Dr. Paul Tisdale, superintendent of Biloxi Public Schools, has been elected by his fellow superintendents to serve as president-elect of the Mississippi Association of School Superintendents for the 2010–2011 school year, and he will move up to president for the 2011–2012 school year.
The Mississippi Association of School Superintendents was organized in 1969. There are 152 school districts in Mississippi with 64 elected Superintendents and 88 appointed Superintendents, all of which are eligible for membership in MASS.
