Biloxi High School cheerleaders will be conducting their annual Mini-Cheer Clinic on Saturday, Aug. 21, from 9 until 11:45 a.m.
Registration begins at 8:40 a.m. in the Biloxi High Sports Arena. Parents may register their children, ages 4-11, at the door. Cost is $35 per person.

State superintendents elect Tisdale to leadership post
School superintendents from across the state have elected Dr. Paul Tisdale, superintendent of Biloxi Public Schools, to serve as president-elect of the Mississippi Association of School Superintendents for the 2010–2011 school year, and he will serve as president for the 2011–2012 school year.
The Mississippi Association of School Superintendents was organized in 1969. There are 152 school districts in Mississippi with 64 elected Superintendents and 88 appointed Superintendents, all of whom are eligible for membership in MASS.
