The Biloxi High School Indians baseball squad, despite threatening weather, remains on track to host Gulfport in a varsity game this evening at 7, but a junior varsity contest scheduled for 5 p.m. has been canceled, according to Biloxi Head Coach Kevin Burdine.

Today's games with Gulfport were the only scheduled meetings of Biloxi and Gulfport this year.

Biloxi's varsity squad sports a 5-0 record.

Gorenflo Elementary school will hold the 2nd Annual Speed Stack Championship in the Gorenflo Gymnasium on Saturday, March 13.

The event is open to students of Beauvoir, Gorenflo, Jeff Davis, Nichols, North Bay, and Popp’s Ferry elementary schools, and Michel 6th Grade School.

The students will be timed in several competitions, the 3-3-3, 3-6-3, and the Cycle.

The competition will begin at 9:30 a.m.
