Biloxi Public Schools will present a workshop to provide advice to parents about the latest technological tools on the internet and how to help your child compete and stay safe online.
The free event, called "Tech the Halls," takes place Wednesday, Dec. 9 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Biloxi Junior High School auditorium.
Parents will be reminded of how to access their child's grades online through the school district web site, and learn about teachers' webpages and other online resources to help with homework.
The program also will include information on how to protect children who visit popular web sites such as MySpace and Face Book.
