The Biloxi High School volleyball team, sporting a 17-1 record, will host the first round of the volleyball playoffs on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 in the Biloxi Sports Arena at Biloxi High School. The Biloxi team’s competition -- either Hattiesburg or Oak Grove – will be determined this evening.

The Biloxi High School PTO is currently taking orders for Biloxi specialty license tags.

The tags will feature the Biloxi arrowhead with "Biloxi Indians" written across the bottom of the tag.

The tag is $31 and must be ordered by Oct. 9. The PTO must have 300 pre-paid orders to have the specialty tag made. Order forms are available at Biloxi High School.

Financial aid: Biloxi High School hosts it annual financial aid night this evening at 6 at the Biloxi High School cafeteria. All parents of seniors are encouraged to attend. High school counselors will be on hand to help answer questions.

Phone trouble: Biloxi High School continues to endure interruptions in phone service and internet access. Technicians hope to have the issue resolved shortly.

Do lunch: Beauvoir Elementary School will host Family Lunch Friday this week. The menu will be red beans and rice with sausage, corn on the cob, turnip greens, corn bread, brownies for dessert, and lemonade or tea. Lunch will be during your child's lunchtime.
