Most parents of K-6 students in Biloxi Public Schools have already received the word from principals, but here’s your reminder:

Biloxi Public Schools tonight will present a district-wide Family Math Night this evening at each elementary school in the district.

The gathering, part of the district's on-going initiative to engage parents in the education process, will provide fun math activities and games for the entire family.

Family Math Night is family involvement program that provides elementary school children and their family members with opportunities to develop problem solving skills and understanding mathematical concepts. A variety of math centers will be hosted by teachers offering an assortment of games and activities.

Family Math Night runs from 5 to 7 p.m. at Michel and elementary schools, except at Gorenflo, where it begins at 6 p.m.
