For the second year, Biloxi Public School District has mental health counselors available for the elementary schools.
The purpose of each counselor is to provide mental health services in conjunction with academics to ensure each student is successful.
Among the services provided by the counselors are anger management skills, coping skills, and parent/family support. The services are conducted in individual or group sessions. Interested parents should contact one of these counselors:

Football: Biloxi kicks off its high school football season this evening, hosting South Jones. Kickoff is at 7:30.
Junior high traffic: Campus police have implemented a traffic plan for entering and exiting the junior high school parking area off Irish Hill Drive to minimize congestion. Traffic will now enter from the east and exit from the west. Temporary barricades have been erected and permanent lane markings and appropriate signage will be installed next week. |
