Biloxi Public Schools will hold another “2nd Cup of Coffee” on Friday morning at schools throughout the district.
The event is a a district-wide parent involvement event at each school.
“2nd Cup of Coffee is an informal time for you to come by and visit with principals and other school personnel to build relationships and keep lines of communication open,” said Dr. Karen Norwood, the district’s director of assessment and federal programs. “You are invited to stop by and have your second cup of coffee of the day to talk about whatever you would like.”
Times will vary at each school, since school days begin at different times, but parents will be notified through Connect-Ed messages. Banners also will be hung at each school to promote the event.

"The district website is the foundation of our public relations efforts; our e-newsletter, The Windtalker, and quarterly publication, The Arrow, support our goal of having a better informed community. It's encouraging and reassuring that professional organizations, such as the Mississippi School Public Relations Association, recognize our efforts.”
