
The Biloxi Junior High School 8th Grade Football team won the District IV Championship, defeating Gulfport Central 34-20 in a game played last week.
“It was a tremendous game and the Indians played great on both sides of the football,” according to Coach Marcus Boudreaux. “Throughout the season the team overcame many obstacles and continued to improve with every week.”
The Indians finished their season with a 6-2 record. The two losses included a double overtime and the other was against Gulfport, the team defeated in the championship game.
During the season, the Indians scored a total of 184 points during the season while giving up only 89.
Besides Boudreaux, coaches are Danny Wasilenko and Tim Kell.

throughout the season. Special thanks and commendations also go to the cheerleadeers, 8th grade Advanced Band, and all the students, parents and fans who supported the team this year. Way to go, Indians!!
