A citywide pep rally to usher in the arrival of Biloxi High School football will be held Thursday afternoon at 4:30 in the parking of the Winn-Dixie at Pass and Popp’s Ferry roads.
The 45-minute event, which is free and open to the public, will feature an introduction of the Biloxi High football team and performances by the Indian cheerleaders, marching band and dance team.
Cheerleaders will be selling soft drinks and hot dogs provided by Winn-Dixie and Coca-cola.

Re-teaching, re-testing policy provides second chance for students, teachers
Biloxi Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Paul A. Tisdale is reminding parents and students that there’s a second chance when it comes to testing in Biloxi schools, if students are willing to invest extra effort.
