Drama department to stage 'Nunsense'
5/1/2008

The Biloxi High School Drama Department will present "Nunsense, the Mega-Musical" at the Biloxi High School Lecture Hall on May 16 and 17 at 7 p.m. and May 18 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $10, and can be purchased at the door. Reservations can be made by e-mailing Kelly Norris at kelly.norris@biloxischools.net or calling her at (228) 435-6105.

In the hilarious musical, Sister Julia, Child of God, cooked soup for the 52 of 71 nuns who decided not to play bingo. All 52 nuns died instantly of botulism. Through fundraising, the Reverend Mother was able to bury 48 of the 52 sisters but opted to buy a plasma TV for the convent instead of burying the remaining four. Those four were placed in the freezer. To avoid a visit from the health department, the nuns are putting on a talent/variety show to raise money to bury them.
