Meagan Gill, a senior at Biloxi High School, has been selected to receive one of only two local McDonald's Band Scholarships awarded during the Gulf Coast Band Directors Association clinic.

During the competition, Gill also was selected as the most outstanding student in the Blue Band.

Biloxi student Steven Allen also participated in the auditions for the scholarship.
