Thirty members of Biloxi High School's Career and Technology Center SkillsUSA participated in district competition on Thursday at Pearl River Community College.
First place winner for Prepared Speech was LaQuinta Green. LaQuinta represented Mr. Cook's Auto Body class.
Second place winner for Prepared Speech was Will Lammons. Will represented Mr. Kell's Technology Application's class
First place winner for Cabinet Making was Carolyn Marberry. Carolyn represented Mr. Pickich's Building Trades class.
Second place winner for Architectural Drafting was Khang Pham. Khang represented Mr. Shott's Drafting class.
Second place winner for Technical Drafting was Jason Bandy. Jason represented Mr. Shott's Drafting class.
Second place winner for Extemporaneous Speaking was Robert Smith. Robert represented Mr. Shott's Drafting class.
Second place winner for Related technical Math was Charles Uren. Charles represented Mr. Cook's Auto Body class.
These students will advance to state competition, which will be held April 9-10 during Spring Break.
