Parents of children entering kindergarten need to plan to attend one of the Kindergarten Discovery Days, which will be Aug. 6, 7, or 8.

Participation in the program is a requirement for all students entering Kindergarten in the 2012-2013 school year.

Parents must accompany their child to one of Kindergarten Discovery Days to meet their teacher and a small group of their classmates.

The program is designed to help Kindergarten students become familiar with the school in small groups and allow parents to meet the teachers and important information to get the school year off to a good start.

Parents’ portion of the Kindergarten Discovery Days will end by 9:30 a.m.

The first full day of Kindergarten class is Aug. 9.
