The Excel by 5 "Hop the Trail to Bunny Land" planned for Saturday on the Town Green is being postponed until March 24.

City Parks and Recreation Director Sherry Bell, a member of the Excel by 5 coalition, said the heavy rainfall overnight saturated the Town Green.

The free event, which is open to ages 5 and below, will offer fun hands-on activities for children, and parents will be able to take their child's photograph with Bunny Rabbit.

"Hop the Trail to Bunny Land" will be March 24, from 9 a.m. to noon. It is sponsored by Biloxi Excel by 5 Coalition, the city, and Biloxi Public Schools.
