Biloxi High’s Air Force JROTC Drill Team, which placed second overall in the Gulf Breeze (Fla.) Regional Drill Championship over the weekend, has now competed against 31 teams this year and has a record of 30 wins and one defeat.
The Gulf Breeze event on Saturday featured 19 teams from a four-state area. Competitors were judged in two overall categories of drill, the Armed and Unarmed Divisions.
Biloxi won the overall Unarmed Division Championship, placing second in Unarmed Color Guard commanded by Regene Hall, second in Unarmed Exhibition, commanded by Hailey Russell; second in Unarmed Regulation, commanded by Autrionne Monroe; and third in Unarmed Regulation, commanded by Camilla Meza.
Biloxi also placed first in Armed Exhibition Drill, commanded by Eric Henry; and second in Armed Color Guard, commanded by Andre White.
