In a months-long project underwritten by the History Channel and the University of Southern Mississippi-Gulf Coast, 430 eighth grade students from Biloxi Junior High School studied the architecture in the neighborhood surrounding the school, an area known as "the Holy Land" since many of its streets are named for saints.

Below are phoitos from a ceremony on May 15, 2008 at Biloxi Junior High School auditorium, where a book by the students was unveiled.
