Connect-ED

Biloxi Public Schools recently launched Connect-ED, a school-to-parent notification system,
as part of the district’s efforts to communicate more effectively with parents.
Connect-ED may also be used for staff communications.

School administrators will have the power to make one phone call and reach all parents in minutes.
Biloxi Schools’ principals and administrators will use Connect-ED to periodically and personally connect
with parents on issues related to district initiatives, school meetings, testing dates, and reminders.

Connect-Ed will enable school administrators to reach parents immediately in the event of a school
or district-wide emergency.  The system can deliver thousands of messages within minutes, ensuring
that parents quickly know what’s going on in the case of an emergency.

To be sure that you’re receiving these messages, schools must have up-to-date contact information.
If you move or obtain a new cell phone number, be sure to provide your child’s school with the
new contact information so you won’t miss a single Connect-ED message.
